The New York Times reported that Syrian rebels had "seized the only border crossing along the Israeli-Syrian cease-fire line in the Golan Heights," for several hours on Thursday. This is not the first time the conflict has spilled over this area. Earlier this week government forces reclaimed the strategic town of Qusair.
